The primary function of this VAG KKL USB Interface Cable is for OBDII connectivity. It features a J1962 16-Pin Male (to Car) OBDII Plug, allowing it to be connected to the vehicle's diagnostic port. The device supports terminal (K) bus communication and terminal (L) ignition for waking up the car's computing system (ECU) engine control unit. It has 3 different protocols with the same OBD2 connector, including ISO/KWP, VPW, and PMW.

This VAG KKL cable is compatible with a wide range of Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and Seat models sold worldwide from 1994 to the current year. Specifically, it is compatible with the following models:

For Audi: A2, A3, A4 Cabriolet, A6, A8, S2, S3, TT. It is not compatible with 80, 100, 200, A3(8P), A4(B7), A6(C6/4F), A8, A8L(D3/4E), Q7.

For SEAT: Alhambra, Altea, Arosa, Cordoba, Ibiza, Inca, Leon MK 1, Leon MK 2, Toledo. It is not compatible with Altea (5P), Leon (1P), Toledo (5P).

The cable is powered by the CH340T chip and is designed to work with Windows operating systems, specifically Windows 7 32-bit, Windows 10 64-bit, and Windows 11 64-bit. It is also compatible with earlier Windows versions, including Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, NT, and XP.
